Glen Armstrong

Back in the U.S.A.

There’s not much we lack in the U.S.A.

Chilidogs and crack in the U.S.A.

How unhappy my mail order bride will be

in her tumble-down shack in the U.S.A.

Guitar solos and bikini bottoms

cause heart attacks in the U.S.A.

I would rather live in your sweet tempest

than a mansion back in the U.S.A.

They opened their shows with “Jumping Jack Flash”

in Europe, “Paint It Black” in the U.S.A.

My heart was thrown out with the chicken heads

in a burlap sack in the U.S.A.

Six epiphanies, three weeks, no regrets.

We need to keep track in the U.S.A.
